Our History

Dingledine Trucking was started in Terre Haute, OH in 1918 by Homer Dingledine to provide trucking services to Standard Oil of Ohio – now BP Oil. Throughout the years Dingledine Trucking has hauled a wide variety of freight; from milk and livestock, to brass shavings and toilet paper.

The company remained in the Dingledine family until 1986 when it was purchased by the Damewood family of Urbana, OH who remains the owner today. We are the definition of family business with our entire family working out of the same office for one common goal; to provide our customers with premium service and guaranteed delivery times, all at a fair price.
